With the temperature at 98 degrees and the heat index much higher that day, I didn’t pick up on anyone complaining. Everyone was aware of their job and did it well. Everyone looked out for each other. Due to the extreme temperatures that day, I did what I could do keep everyone hydrated with ice water and Gatorade. I also provided everyone with cold, wet towels to the back of their necks to help minimize the consequences of the heat.

Later in the day, your brother Joe arrived and pitched in to help complete the job. While Joe was here, one of the young men became slightly ill due to the high temperatures, and Joe instructed him to take a seat in his truck so the air-conditioning could help cool his body. Even though the young man said he was fine, Joe still insisted that he take a seat in the truck to cool down. I was very impressed with the care and thoughtfulness he showed toward the employees under your care.

When the crew had completed seeding my back yard, you would scarcely know they were there, the cleanup was so perfect. Everyone had a job to do and held up to it. Before the crew departed, I made it a point to shake the hands of each and every individual, and complimented them on the outstanding job they did at least twice.

I was so impressed with this crew’s attitude and work ethics that I will recommend your company in a heartbeat. If they can work this strongly together under these extreme temperatures, I can only imagine how well they work together when the weather is much cooler. This particular crew is an extreme asset to your company, and it was my delight and pleasure getting to know them all.”
