Rob Garpiel is founder and president of Garpiel Landscaping. He has been in the green industry since 1994 and founded Garpiel Landscaping in 1997. Rob has taken an active role with several associations focused on the green industry, such as the Michigan Nursery and Landscaping Association and PLANET. Joe Garpiel is the landscape management division supervisor at Garpiel Landscaping, with a primary focus on construction. He is responsible for many of the beautiful and creative paver patios, retaining walls, water features and landscapes that Garpiel Landscaping designs, builds and maintains for our clients. He holds a degree from Michigan State University’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources in the Landscape and Nursery program. Joe has invested a great amount of time into formalizing his professional standing in the landkeep industry, ensuring his experience is a welcome asset to any project.

Matt Garpiel is the manager of Garpiel Landscaping’s turf management/land care division. He has been involved with the green industry since 1997 and is currently in charge of several new programs at Garpiel Landscaping. He is actively involved in our grassroots development to help our clients maintain beautifully controlled and healthy sites through an energetic management style. Matt has a fun management style that empowers our teams to perform at their optimum, encouraging pride in our crews and their work. Jeff Martin is Garpiel Landscaping’s fleet service manager. A native of the Saginaw Valley, he grew up on a Saginaw farm. At age 13, he began learning how to repair all types of small and large equipment. That led to a formal education in small engine repair. He later furthered his training and went to school to be a machinist, working 13 years in the machining industry. Jeff brings to Garpiel Landscaping more than 30 years of equipment repair experience. He has been a Garpiel team member since 2007. Jeff is the best kind of team player any company would be proud to have. He brings not only years of experience to the
company, but he also cares for and treats our equipment as if it were

Bill Flynn is a business development associate at Garpiel Landscaping. In the landscaping and green industry since 2004, he holds a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from Saginaw Valley State University. He joined the Garpiel team in 2010. He is Irrigation Association certified in electrical troubleshooting for landscape irrigation. Bill continues to further his education while at Garpiel, recently attending seminars addressing business and irrigation practices at Grow!, the Great Lakes Trade Expo and the Michigan Green Industry Association trade show. Matthew DeVries is the office manager at Garpiel Landscaping. Joining the Garpiel team in 2012, Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in English degree from Central Michigan University. He has experience in the landscaping industry, as well as the business side of facilitating the fluid operation of a successful office. Matthew also brings marketing and public relations experience to the table, assisting Garpiel Landscaping in its business development and marketing reach to current and potential clients.
