Early detection is the key to keeping grub damage from turning into a major problem. With spring already upon us, grub damage will typically be seen when your lawn fails to green up, and you will notice large, irregular-shaped brown patches in your turf.

We recommend what is known as the Tug Test, which can be performed during your weekly mowing. Simply grab a handful of turf in an area you feel may be infected by grubs and pull up on it. If the turf pulls out of the ground, you will want to begin with a curative treatment from Garpiel Landscaping.
